How do I cancel or change my order?
If you have any problems with your order, please email us at hello@hamptonandastley.com or phone 01782 916932 (9am - midday, Monday - Friday) to speak to us. We'll get back to you within 24 hours and often a lot sooner.

Can I track my order?
You can use our Chat Bot to track your order by tapping the speech bubble pop-up on our website.

When will my order be delivered?
For orders below £200 delivery time is approximately 3-5 working days. Orders over £200 are sent on a next day delivery service.

How much do you charge for delivery?
UK delivery is free of charge, including next day delivery on orders over £200.

Do you ship to countries outside the UK?
Yes, free shipping is available to most countries worldwide based on minimum order spend. We cover duty and taxes for all shipments and delivery time is approximately 7-14 working days. Please see our shipping info page for a full list of countries.

What is your returns policy?
All of our products can be returned within 30 days and include a 1-year warranty.  Returns will be refunded in the original payment method or store credit less £5 returns fee if you're in the UK. To make a return, please contact hello@hamptonandastley.com and check your junk folder if you have not received a reply within 24 hours.

Do you have a store I can visit in-person?
No, we’re an online business and only sell direct, which means we can keep our prices low without compromising on quality.

How do I claim the 15% discount for new customers?

• BEDDING

How should your bedding be washed?
For best appearance, we recommend washing the bedding on its own on a cool or warm cycle, then line-drying to preserve the fibres and colour. If you’re using a tumble dryer, choose low heat and a low tumble cycle for the best results, then iron inside out.

What bedding sizes do you sell?
We offer our bedding in sizes Double, King, Super King and Emperor.

What colours of bedding do you sell?
Our bedding is available in a choice of pure white, subtle grey or blush pink.

Can the bedding be tumble dried?
For best results, we recommend line-drying our bedding to preserve the fibres and colour, however it can also be tumble dried on a low heat with a low tumble cycle.

Is your bedding safe for children's skin?
Yes, our bedding is OEKO-TEX certified free from harmful substances and no chemical smells, so it’s safe for all the family.

What fabric is your bedding made from?
All our bedding is made from bespoke, high quality Egyptian cotton sateen fabric that is entirely unique to Hampton and Astley. It’s woven from single-ply, long-staple Egyptian cotton yarn, made from the longest and strongest fibres, so it’s super soft and very durable.

What thread count is your bedding?
We use a thread count of 300 for our bedding, as this creates very soft and breathable fabric with a luxurious, dense finish. Fabrics with a higher thread count can feel thinner and less soft if they’ve been made with low quality yarn. We only ever use long-staple Egyptian cotton because it is the best.

Does your bedding need to be ironed?
Our bedding is designed to be crease resistant, so it always looks beautiful straight from the wash and needs the minimum of ironing.

• TOWELS

What is in a towel bundle?
Each 6-piece Egyptian cotton luxury bath towel set contains 2 x Face Cloths (30 x 30cm), 2 x Hand Towels (50 x 85cm) and 2 x Bath Towels (70 x 125cm). Each 7-piece set contains all these plus 1 x Large Bath Sheet (90 x 145cm).

What colour towels do you sell?
Our towels and bathmats are available in a choice of pure white, subtle grey, charcoal grey or blush pink.

How should your towels be washed?
For best appearance, we recommend washing your towels on their own on a cool or warm cycle. Our towels are designed to get even thicker and fluffier for the first 3 washes. If you’re using a dryer, choose a low heat and a low tumble cycle for the best results.

• CANDLES

What are your candles made of?
We use a 100% natural blend of beeswax, soy and rapeseed wax for our candles, with a pure cotton wick for a complete non-toxic experience. Absolutely no paraffin-based waxes are used.

Where are your candles made?
Our candles are hand-poured in Staffordshire, England.

How long do your candles last?
All our candles have a burn time of up to 50 hours.

How long should I burn my candle for?
We recommend keeping your candle lit for no more than 4 hours at a time.

How do I prevent my candle from tunneling?
The very first time you light your candle, keep it burning until the pool of melted wax reaches the edges of the jar before you snuff out the flame (around 1-2 hours). This will stop it from ‘tunneling’, which is when a candle burns down the centre leaving unmelted wax around the sides. You should only need to do this for the first burn.

Do I need to trim my candle’s wick?
We recommend keeping your candle's wick well-trimmed to prevent wisps of smoke. Once it's cooled, use a wick-cutter or a small pair of scissors to trim the wick back to a quarter of an inch.
